Overview

This site is operated by Titus Ngayo Kasaine, a surveying technologist based in Nairobi, Kenya (“we”, “us”). We collect the minimum information needed to respond to enquiries about survey work, and nothing more. We don't sell data, run ad networks, or share your details with marketers.

What we collect

We collect information in two categories:

• 01Information you provide. Full name, email address, phone number (optional), project type, and the message you write when you submit the contact form.
• 02Information collected automatically. Standard, aggregated technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) generated by our hosting provider for security and performance monitoring. These logs are not used to build a profile of you.

How it's collected

Information is collected directly from you when you fill in and submit the contact form. Technical logs are generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure whenever any visitor loads a page — this happens regardless of whether you submit the form.

How it's used

Submitted enquiry details are used only to:

• Understand the scope of the survey you're enquiring about
• Prepare and send you a quote or follow-up questions
• Contact you by phone or email about that enquiry
• Keep a record of past client communication for our own reference

We do not use your contact details for marketing, and we do not share them with any third party for their own purposes.

Legal basis for processing

Where the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 or a similar regulation applies to you, our basis for processing your enquiry details is consent — given by you when you voluntarily submit the contact form — and legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.

Storage & retention

Form submissions are delivered by email to Titus's inbox through a transactional email provider and are not stored in a separate database on this site. Enquiry details are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request and maintain a record of the engagement — typically no longer than 24 months — after which they are deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Your rights).

Third parties

We use a small number of service providers to run this site. They only ever see the minimum data needed to perform their function, and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations:

• Hosting provider — serves the site and generates standard access logs.
• Transactional email provider — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.

We do not use third-party advertising networks, and this site does not sell or rent visitor data to anyone.

Cookies

This site does not use marketing or advertising cookies. It may use strictly necessary cookies required for basic site functionality (such as remembering that you've dismissed a banner), which don't track you across other websites. No analytics cookies are set unless explicitly disclosed here in a future update.

Security

Submissions are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to enquiry emails is limited to Titus. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the scale of this site to protect your information from unauthorised access or disclosure.

Your rights

You can, at any time, ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information
• Stop using your information for a stated purpose

Children's privacy

This site and its services are intended for professional enquiries from adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes to the site, the services used to run it, or applicable law. Material changes will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage checking back periodically.
